Terms of use
Short, because the site collects nothing, sells nothing and asks for nothing.

Using the site
The tools are free to use, for personal or commercial purposes, with no account and no attribution required. You may link to any page. You may use screenshots of the test patterns in a support ticket, a warranty claim, a review or a listing.
What you may not do is run automated processes that degrade the service for other people, or republish the site's text wholesale as your own.
What is not promised
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty. They are built carefully and tested, and they may still contain mistakes. More importantly, a display test in a browser is limited by what a browser can do, which is set out in detail on what a browser cannot detect.
Decisions you make from these results are yours. If a test suggests a fault and you return a display, or suggests no fault and you keep one, that judgement rests with you. No liability is accepted for the outcome of a warranty claim, a purchase, a sale or a repair, to the extent the law allows.
Flashing content
Some tools flash or cycle colours rapidly. Each one is behind a warning and requires an explicit action to start; none begin on their own. If you have photosensitive epilepsy, do not run them. Every such tool can be stopped instantly with its stop control or the escape key.
The fixer tools
The stuck pixel and burn-in tools attempt something that sometimes works and often does not, and each page says so with the evidence available. Running them is at your discretion. They do nothing a display is not built to do, and they cannot repair a dead pixel or reverse permanent burn-in.
External links
The site links to other organisations where they are the better source. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and none of them are under this site's control.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be noted in the changelog with a date, and the date at the top of this page will move.
